    Creator creates the campaign

    A creator shares their idea, sets a funding goal, and offers rewards for backers who want them.

    Backers back the campaign

    Supporters pledge money — with or without a reward. It's about believing in the idea.

    Funds release in 3 phases

    When a campaign reaches its goal, the creator receives the money in three phases — not all at once.

    Update, then the crowd decides

    Before each new phase, the creator posts a progress update. Backers vote on whether to release the next round of funds.

    Creator ships the rewards

    The creator is responsible for delivering rewards to backers who pledged for them.

Backers stay in control the whole way. If a creator can't show progress, the community can choose to hold funds back — so support keeps flowing to the projects that keep delivering.

Backing a project is a risk — not a purchase

Not every project succeeds. Creators are real people working on hard, uncertain things. A campaign may take longer than planned, change along the way, or not deliver at all.

Our phased funding and backer votes are designed to reduce that risk — but they cannot remove it. Please back projects because you believe in them, and only pledge what you can afford.
